“Streams / At Night” - Arrange
I get so excited when we can share new Arrange tunes. Malcom Lacey, currently establishing himself in Portland, has released a new single off his upcoming EP Five Years With the Sun (“a goodbye letter to South Florida” due February 14th on JUKBOXR). “Streams / At Night” is the addictive opener to a lovely EP; dreamy, but with big hooks all over the place (an effect he’s shown a consistent ability to create). This EP shows off a number of new ideas, all of which I’m quite excited for everybody to hear. You may remember Arrange appearing on a few of our year-end lists a week ago - I dare say you could see that recurring at the end of 2012. In the meantime, head over to JUKBOXR to preorder the EP [link], a beautiful blue 12” packaged with some incredible artwork by Emily Fraser [link].

The time to go back to Beirut, Grizzly Bear, writing and sighing is now. May time go fast on me and may January get here bloody already.
